Yerevan - Sevan - Dilijan by electric car
On the way from Yerevan towards Lake Sevan and Dilijan, the EV Armenia network has AC stations at Abovyan, Tsaghkadzor, Gavar and Martuni, and at Ijevan beyond Dilijan. We have no station at Sevan town or in Dilijan itself. AC charging takes hours, so plan to charge fully in Yerevan and top up while you eat or sleep at a hotel stop.
What the network offers on this side of the country
All EV Armenia stations are AC, mostly at restaurants, hotels and shopping centres. That suits a day trip with a long lunch, or an overnight stay. It does not suit a ten-minute stop. If your plan needs a quick top-up between Sevan and Dilijan, check other operators’ DC chargers first; see networks compared.
| Stop | Straight-line distance from Yerevan | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Abovyan | about 15 km | Close to Yerevan; useful for topping up on the way out or back |
| Tsaghkadzor | about 43 km | Resort town in the hills above Hrazdan; a short detour from the main road |
| Gavar | about 56 km | On the south-west side of Lake Sevan |
| Martuni | about 69 km | On the southern shore of Lake Sevan |
| Ijevan | about 96 km | Beyond Dilijan, in Tavush Province |
Distances are straight lines between the coordinates of the towns in our catalogue, not road distances. Roads are longer; check the route in your navigator.

Gaps to plan around
- Sevan town and Dilijan have no EV Armenia station. Auto Gallery announced in April 2026 that Dilijan would be among its fast-charging locations; we have not confirmed that a station there is open.
- All our stations are AC. DC fast charging has to come from other networks.
- Mountain driving uses more energy than the flat range figure suggests, especially with climbs and cold weather. Leave a margin.
Planning checklist
- Charge to full in Yerevan before you leave.
- Choose one overnight or long-meal stop where a station is available, such as Tsaghkadzor.
- Open the EV Armenia app before the drive to see which stations are free and what they cost: 100 AMD per kWh on AC.
- Carry your own Type 2 cable if the car uses one; see connector types.
- Do not arrive at the last station with an empty battery. A rule of thumb is to keep 20% in reserve.
