Run your own charging network on proven software
EV Armenia is a complete charging platform: an OCPP server, payments, an admin panel and driver apps you can brand as your own. It runs the EV Armenia network today. Licensed to you, hosted by us or installed on your own server.
Platform author: Andrew Boiko
What is included
- OCPP 1.6J, 2.0.1 and 2.1
- Idram, IDBank / ArCa, Fastshift
- Admin panel and driver apps
- Armenian, Russian, English
How the pieces fit together
- Durable inbound message queue
- Remote start, stop and commands
- Double-entry wallet ledger
- Tariffs and session billing
What you get
- OCPP
OCPP charging station server
Stations on OCPP 1.6J, 2.0.1 and 2.1 connect over WebSocket with a password. Start, stop, reset and configure them remotely.
- Reliability
No lost meter readings
Incoming messages are written to the database before the station gets its answer, then applied in order. A restart does not drop data.
- Finance
Money you can audit
A double-entry wallet ledger records every top-up, charge and refund. Payments are reconciled against the gateways.
- Payments
Armenian payments built in
Idram, IDBank / ArCa cards and Fastshift are integrated, including refunds where the gateway supports them.
- Checkout
Guest charging
Drivers charge without registering. The mode follows the gateway: prepay with refund, prepay with credit and, where the bank enables two-stage payments, a card hold.
- Admin
Admin panel for the whole team
Stations, tariffs, live sessions, finance, users, team roles, audit log, OCPP log and station photos.

Admin panel, demo data - White-label
Driver apps under your brand
A web app that installs like an app, plus native Android and iOS apps. Your name, your colours, your stores.
- Languages
Armenian, Russian, English
Apps, admin panel and e-mails speak all three. Receipts and push notifications go out in the driver's language.
- Migration
Moving from another system
Legacy-account migration tools import your existing drivers and let them claim their old balance and history.
- Operations
Observable and hardened
Prometheus metrics, health checks, rate limits, a strict content security policy, an audit log and configurable data retention.
- Deploy
Runs on a small server
Deploy on a modest VPS or with Docker. PostgreSQL and Redis are all it needs.
- Measured, not promised
MeterValues acknowledged in about 2 ms (median) and 4 to 6 ms (95th percentile).
Simulated load test: 200 virtual OCPP 1.6 stations, 150 messages per second, on a shared 2-vCPU machine.
Why operators switch
A generic OCPP backend gets stations talking. Everything around it is yours to build. Here it is already done.
| Why operators switch | A generic OCPP backend typically leaves you to | EV Armenia platform |
|---|---|---|
| Local payments | Integrate and certify each gateway yourself | Idram, IDBank / ArCa and Fastshift are built in |
| Guest checkout | Design, build and test it | Guest modes with refunds and receipts |
| Money accuracy | Build a ledger and reconciliation | Double-entry ledger and payment reconciliation |
| Driver apps | Commission and maintain separate apps | Web, Android and iOS apps, white-label |
| Languages | Translate and maintain every screen and e-mail | Armenian, Russian and English included |
| Hosting and data | Locked to the vendor's cloud | Hosted by us or on your own server |

Questions, answered
Short answers for drivers and for operators.
Do I need to register to charge?
No. Scan the QR code, choose a payment method and add an e-mail for your receipt. You can create an account later to keep your history and use the wallet.
Which payment methods can I use?
Idram, bank cards through IDBank (ArCa) and Fastshift. You can also top up the in-app wallet and charge with one tap.
How do I know the price before I start?
The app shows the rate per kWh, any session or idle fee and the prepaid amount before you confirm.
What happens to money I do not use?
A prepaid amount is a limit, not a bill: you pay for the energy you used. With a bank card the unused part is refunded to the card; with Idram, Fastshift or the in-app wallet it stays as credit on your balance (for guests, under your e-mail).
Which connectors are on the network?
Type 2, Type 1 and GB/T connectors, and the map can be filtered by connector type.
Is there a mobile app?
App store listings are coming soon. Until then the full service works in your browser, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
Is my card safe?
Card details are entered with our bank partner and never reach us. We only see the result of the payment.
Which languages are supported?
Armenian, Russian and English, in the app, in e-mails and in push notifications.
Which charging stations can connect to the platform?
Any charge point that speaks OCPP 1.6J, 2.0.1 or 2.1 and can connect to a WebSocket address with a password.
Can the driver app carry our brand?
Yes. The web app and the native Android and iOS apps are white-label: your name, colours and store listings.
Can we move our existing drivers over?
Yes. Migration tools import existing accounts and let drivers claim their old balance and history with a few taps.
How do we get started?
Write to us. We will look at your stations and payment setup, then send a quote for license and setup, hosted by us or on your own server.
