CivilNet’s reporting from around September 2025 counts more than 300 public charging points in Armenia, over half of them in Yerevan, and says the regions are underserved. How to use AC charging in the city

• Match the stop to the speed. A Type 2 connector at 7 kW adds about 7 kWh in an hour, roughly 40 km of range at 17 kWh per 100 km. Several EV Armenia points are at shopping centres, a hotel and a medical centre, which suit a visit of an hour or two.
• Check the connector before you go. The catalog has Type 1 (J1772), Type 2 and GB/T; see connector types in Armenia.
• Check availability in the app. These pages show catalog data; whether a connector is free right now is in the app.
• Parking. Yerevan exempted EV owners from city parking fees in 2021 according to JAMnews, which called the benefit modest. We have not re-confirmed the current rule, so ask the municipality before you rely on it.
