EV Armenia

White-label EV charging app

By EV Armenia team · Updated

Short answer

A white-label EV charging app is a driver app under your own name, logo and colours, running on the same back end as the EV Armenia network. Drivers find stations on a map, start and stop charging, pay with Idram, a bank card or the in-app wallet, and get receipts in Armenian, Russian or English. It ships as a web app (PWA) and as native Android and iOS apps.

What the driver gets

  • Map and station cards

Stations with connector types, power, price and live availability. A shareable link opens any station.

  • Start, watch, stop

Start a session from the app, follow energy, power and cost in real time, stop it remotely.

  • Payment options

In-app wallet, Idram and bank cards through the IDBank (ArCa) gateway, and guest checkout without registration. See payments.

  • Receipts and history

Every session and top-up is listed with a receipt. Notifications and e-mails arrive in the driver’s language.

  • Push notifications

Charging finished, balance low, promotions. Native apps use push; the web app uses web push where the browser supports it.

  • Armenian, Russian, English

The whole app and the admin panel are available in all three languages.

What you can brand

The colours, typography and logo of the apps are kept as design tokens in one shared package, so a branded version changes them in one place and every screen follows. A branded build has its own app name, icon, colour theme and store identifier. The station catalogue, tariffs, wallet and promotions are yours: they come from your stations and your admin panel.

Web app and native apps from one code base

The web app is a progressive web app: it opens in a browser, installs to the home screen and works with an unstable connection. The native Android and iOS apps are built from the same code with Expo and React Native, so features reach all platforms together. Store review is up to Apple and Google, and we cannot promise approval times.

Behind the app

  • An OCPP server for 1.6J, 2.0.1 and 2.1 chargers.
  • A wallet with a double-entry ledger, promo codes, top-up packages, cashback and referrals.
  • Corporate accounts: prepaid or postpaid billing, driver limits and monthly invoices. The invoices are settlement documents, not fiscal receipts.
  • An admin panel with roles, two-factor sign-in, an audit log and finance reports.

Not available yet

  • Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Telcell (needs a contract and API documentation from Telcell).
  • Saved cards and automatic top-up are built but switched off until the bank confirms recurring payments.
  • Roaming with other networks through OCPI: a module exists but is off by default and not yet proven with third parties.

Questions and answers

Is it a template or a custom app?

It is a ready product that is rebranded. Branding and configuration are quick; new features are a separate agreement.

Can I publish it in the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, under your own developer accounts. Review times are controlled by Apple and Google.

Which payment methods work?

The in-app wallet, Idram and bank cards through IDBank (ArCa). Fastshift is supported as a top-up channel. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Telcell are not supported yet.

Do drivers need an account?

No. Guest checkout lets a driver charge with a card without registering; an account adds a wallet and history.

Can my chargers from different manufacturers be in one app?

Yes, as long as they speak OCPP 1.6J, 2.0.1 or 2.1.
