Host an EV charger on your premises
A hotel, restaurant or shopping centre can host an EV charger so that guests who stay for hours charge while they stay. Most EV Armenia stations are exactly such places. You need a parking space, a power supply, a charger that speaks OCPP and a way to take payment; we provide the software and the driver app, not the hardware. Terms are agreed individually, and we publish no standard revenue share.
Why venues host chargers
- Guests stay for hours, which suits AC charging. A night at a hotel or a long meal adds a useful amount of range.
- Drivers look for it. A station listed on the map and in the app is a reason to choose your venue over another.
- Little daily work. Payments, receipts and remote control run in software.
Look at the EV Armenia stations: of the points in our catalog, many sit at hotels, restaurants and malls.
What you need
| Item | What it means |
|---|---|
| A parking space | A bay that can be kept for charging cars, signed and reachable |
| Power | A supply with spare capacity and a protected circuit. Ask your electrician and, if needed, the distribution company |
| A charger that speaks OCPP | OCPP 1.6J, 2.0.1 or newer; see OCPP explained |
| Connectivity | A stable network connection at the charger |
| The right connector | Match the cars of your guests; see connector types |
| A decision about price | Per-kWh price, who keeps the revenue and how the electricity is paid for |
We do not sell or install chargers. For hardware costs see charger cost and installation.

How much power fits your guests
The energy a guest can take is at most power times time. The real figure is lower when the car’s onboard AC charger is smaller than the connector, or when the battery fills up. The table shows the upper bound.
| Stay | 7 kW | 11 kW | 22 kW |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 hour (a coffee) | 7 | 11 | 22 |
| 3 hours (a long meal) | 21 | 33 | 66 |
| 10 hours (a night) | 70 | 110 | 220 |
Most batteries hold less than the nightly figures, so an overnight stay fills most cars even at 7 kW. Many cars cannot take 22 kW on AC at all; in our catalog the strongest Type 2 point is 21 kW. Choose power for the stays you expect, not for the biggest number.

On-site details that matter
- Signage and marking so that drivers find the bay and other cars do not park in it.
- Lighting and a safe approach for night use, especially at hotels and restaurants.
- Cable management so that a cable does not lie across a walkway.
- Protection and wiring designed and installed by a qualified electrician; see home charging for the same principles at small scale.
- A phone number or a link to support that a stuck driver can use. Drivers can reach us through our Telegram bot and by e-mail.
